My first post will be short whilst I tour around and investigate - a short poem written many many moons ago - I didn't know it then but I was already an LOA devotee! Enjoy!
God’s gift to mankind is friendship
He left it up to us how to make it
We choose ourselves the company we keep
Though we can never know who we will meet
We sometimes can’t help but fall in bad hands
We just have to be able to control our own minds
And not be tempted and led astray
We should be glad to be living in the times of today
The world is not as bad as it seems
We just have to work out what it all means
We look for love in the people around us
And don’t bother to look deep inside us
If we took a good look at life
We would see it isn’t all trouble and strife
Life is for living for the present and future
Not for the past or the winner or the loser
Put some time aside for yourself every day
To see what is happening and if you like it that way
Believe in yourself and the world will do too
So just keep on doing what you want to do
